Post 6: Postgraduate Studies

It's difficult for me to talk about postgraduates when this is just my first year.

As a Food engineer, I have a lot of areas to work, but after a visit of an ex-student who is now working, she tell us some area about aliments about where our university is weak and it's something I like a lot, so if in a future I want to work in an industry about that kind of food, I need to learn more.

I don't know if there's one or what name it, but the subject I want to study if I feel that I need it, is about Dairy products, foods that come from milk or derivatives. I don't know if in some place I can study about this. If not, it also sounds good to study more about marketing, something that I find interesting and it's very important when you try to sell something; but just like a second options, because there are people who studied Advertising for a reason.

About where I can study this, I prefer doing it abroad, because I love the idea of traveling and maybe I can learn something new or different from the form in Chile works with dairy products.

I would like to study with a blended system or just a part-time course, depends if I work at the same time or not, but a blended system sound better.

Post 5: My future job

This is something little hard to think because is just my first year in university, but still because in the first semester for English I had to think about this.

I'm not good at talking to strangers, so I prefer an indoors work, where maybe I have to talk a lot with my job partners, people who I know, so it's a good thing. Although, if the opportunities of work are just outdoor, Why not? In the end we need to know how to deal with different situations.

Also, because I love the idea of travel a lot, I should get used to talk to strangers, meet new people without problem.

About the salary, I don't know, because that depends a lot of my life in that moment, where, if I live with another people, if I have cats... for lucky, I'm not a consumerist person. so I'm fine with have the necessary to pay basic things in that moment. Maybe in that year the households and passage of public transport is even more than now, so is difficult think in a good salary.

This is my first year, so if we talk about a major I'm thinking of taking, honestly I don't have any idea, I don't know what options I will have like a Food Engineering. But I know I have to think about it, some day.

Post 4: Videogames or Sports

In this post I'm going to write about a game I love a lot but now it's just in my memory because I can't play it anymore.

This videogame is Assassin's Creed, especially, Ezio Collection, a compilation of the three games where Ezio Auditore is the character we use.

It's developed by Ubisoft and it's from 2009 the first one and the last 2011, one for a year.

In Assassin's Creed our "real" protagonist is Desmond Miles, someone in a technological present use the Animus, a machine who allows you to relive the genetic memories of your ancestor, and he use it for a important reason. Because of this, you can go to different times of history and places. In this trilogy you go to Italy during the Renaissance, XV century. Is a action-adventure videogame, because of a certain group: Abstergo and the current Templars, the eternal enemys of Assasins, so you have to deal with them all the game.

I like this video game because of the landscapes that you can find and the liberty your character have, because your Assassin can climb a lot of things very easy. Also, the story behind and how you can found some historical figures while you play is something I enjoy. Because this trilogy it happens in Renascentist Italy, in some point your character made some mission for Leonardo Da Vinci.

Blog 3: Movies and series

The series I'm going to talk about is "Supernatural"

It is directed by Eric Kripke in general, but there are more people behind him, working in different seasons and episodes, because this is a very long series.

The main characters are Winchester's brothers: Sam and Dean. After season four, a character that is almost main, is Castiel. There are a lot of characters, so many, but these three are the main ones.

Like the name says it, it's about supernatural things, where you can find anything, like ghost, wendigos, werewolf, vampires, demons, etc. They said a lot of times about how even kid stories are real, but with more reality.

The family of these brothers are "hunters", so they work taking care of monsters, killing or catching them. One day, John Winchester, the dad of Sam and Dean dissapeared, so these two brothers decided together to find him, but this event triggered a lot of problems and difficult to our protagonists.

This series has 14 seasons and now they are doing the last one, ¡Finally! It started in 2005 and now in 2019, probably 2020 will end forever. Because is long and a little old, not much people see it.

I like it because it's very interesting to learn about urban legend of other counties, deity, monsters, pagan gods, and a lot of very curious things. Also, the form they show this to us, I just love it. And they made a lot of crossovers.

Blog 2: Best Holidays

In the summer of 2017 I had my best holidays, in January with my father and in March with my mother. The two times was with my siblings.

That summer I visited two cities from the north of Chile: Calama and Iquique, two very interesting and beautiful places. I was very curious about these cities because there my parents have their best memories of childhood and youth. They always talk about these funny anecdotes with their parents and siblings, so I'm always interested in this places.

In total, it was one week per city, so we should use our time well. In Calama we visit Chuquicamata and San Pedro, apart to enjoying time with the family we have there, my uncle and his family. In Iquique, we went to the beach, the saltpeter of Santa Laura and Humberstone.

I considered these vacations as one because it was the same summer and I learned a lot about the north of our country, about where my parents grew up and I enjoyed time with them and my siblings. Also, that was my first and second trip on a plane. Really a memorable summer.

Blog 1: A country I'd like to visit

Actually, there are a lot of place to visit, all very interestic and unique, but between them there are one that I always after heard about it, I have been interested, and that's Sweden.

Initially, I always been very interested in nordic mythology, so years ago after investigate, I ended love it all that countries in the north of Europe: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland and Sweden. All of them have such a amazing history!

About Sweden, I know that have a lot of forest, a weather cold but one of the most template between the nordic countries, where they speak swedish(Very similar with danish and norwegian) and finnish.

In Sweden I want to do a lot of tourism, and taking advantage of the location, visit the surrounding countries. I will visit museums about the interesting history that I read time ago, explore some forest, how is the baltic ocean, and other things that Sweden have. We can't forget the food. Definitely I must taste it.

In this country I'd like the idea about living there, because is a very calm place, withoutt a lot of people and still being a very technology place the principal citys. The only problem will be the language and being so far from my family.

Evaluation of your blogging experience

In the beggining when teacher said "Create a blog" and how we going to use it every week. I was think about how boring and annoying looks to do.

But after all, that depend just about what we have to write, because in a lot of blog was interesting think about something in specific to share, search for the translation about that and with the passage of class, see a progress, where without expecting, my english vocabulary it was increasing and now I have more confidence about speak or write in English, even when sometimes I'm still wrong, because nothing serve if I don't learn from my mistakes.

In the end, this is very useful, well, just if you really take care the make this fine. Before with write a blog with at least 200 word sound hard to do, but now, it's just annoying but I know that I can do it.

In the future...maybe something to investigate a country where the principal language is english or just one of our choice because we like it, and let others now about basic and interesting thing about that place. But in general, this activity of blog is useful and good, but it depends on us whether we take advantage of it or not.
