Evaluation of your blogging experience

In the beggining when teacher said "Create a blog" and how we going to use it every week. I was think about how boring and annoying looks to do.

But after all, that depend just about what we have to write, because in a lot of blog was interesting think about something in specific to share, search for the translation about that and with the passage of class, see a progress, where without expecting, my english vocabulary it was increasing and now I have more confidence about speak or write in English, even when sometimes I'm still wrong, because nothing serve if I don't learn from my mistakes.

In the end, this is very useful, well, just if you really take care the make this fine. Before with write a blog with at least 200 word sound hard to do, but now, it's just annoying but I know that I can do it.

In the future...maybe something to investigate a country where the principal language is english or just one of our choice because we like it, and let others now about basic and interesting thing about that place. But in general, this activity of blog is useful and good, but it depends on us whether we take advantage of it or not.

Movies, Series or Books

In this blog I'm going to talk about a famous trilogy, "The lord of the rings", in specific the movies, based in books made by J. R. R. Tolkien.

These epic fantasy adventure movies were directed by Peter Jackson.

In this history, our principal character is Frodo Baggins, his friends, Gandalf the Grey, and other criatures, like elfs and midget. There are three parts: The fellowship of the ring, The two towers and The return of the king.

This movie happens in middle-earth, an shows about how the Dark Lord Sauron is seeking the One Ring, and this for some reason it's found in a little and pacific place, Hobbiton, where simples hobbits lives. But one of them have this ring, a young Frodo Baggins. This ring is dangerous in bad hands, so they have to destroyer and the only place where they can do that, is in Mount Doom in the land of Mordor. So, they with another characthers begins a journey with the mission of destroy it.

I like it because it's very original and was my first meeting with fantasy and middle-earth world. Also, there is a lot of good effects, setting, clothing, make-up and the argument is catchy. I remember always the wars in the movie and how we can found magic and things like corrupted creatures.

A subject I enjoy studying this semester

This semester, my first in university... it's really easy choose one, without considering English III


"Chemical Laboratory Techniques"

In this subject we first learn in classroom about different basic thing necesary in laboratory, teoric part about what we will do, and it's boring because is just write about that and listen, but after, we go to laboratory to aplicate what we learn, using laboratory's instruments and look cool with our white smocke even when we do basic things.

For the moment we learn about how install a chemical sistem, interpretate results in laboratory,, names of instruments, security rules, calculate different things related to mass, density and volume, types of dilutions, extraction and purification.

I like it because in my old school we having a "laboratory", but have almost nothing, and I never used it. I never do something in laboratory before this year, so that's the reason I like it and feel like a kid every class, just with the fear of broke something. In the beggining was a little difficult because all is something new, but now I know more about basic things. Also, it's cool learn thing in this form, using different solutions and even sulfuric acid.

Website or Expert

I am going to talk about a expert who is enthusiastic in my career, Food's engineering. Probably, all the students of this career in this university, knows him.

José Romero Reyes, it's a teacher in Universidad de Chile, who graduated in Chemistry, but in the path, he love this career about food with science, so now he teach about different things necessary in this career. I don't know his age, but for sure more than 50 years old

He made different proyects, publications and congresses. Between this, he write a lot in Latin American nutrition files, where some of his works have like tittle "Effect of ganma irradiation on the microbiological quality of minimally processed". I don't know what it is, but sound cool.

I choose this career just because sound interesting, but he in class explain us, to first year students, about the career and a lot of interesting things we do, so give me more motivations and curiosity about this. So thanks to him, I feel satisfied for the choose I made.

Favourite Food

I really like a lot of food, so it's difficult to choose one. So, after thinking about it, I usually prefer something salty, but there is a big exception, and are dessert made it by my grandmother. Between this, she made a delicious baked milk pudding, called in Chile "Leche Asada".

I really love this dessert, but more if is made by my grandma, because it's sweet and creamy, but without being very sweet. Also, it's made with simple ingredients, so my grandma don't have problems in made it. It's amazing how you can make so delicious food and dessert with so common things.

I enjoy a lot this food because I eat rarely, even less baked mil pudding made by my grandmother, because she live in Coquimbo and we can't go in all vacations we have, so... ¿Every two years?

She always made it for her grandchildren, and looks so happy when we enjoy it, so it's a clearly example of food make it with love.

And sometimes my dad visit her alone, and tell us that he eat this just to give us envy.
